The residential complex Near Dacha, built in 2005 and located behind Poklonnaya Gora on Kutuzovsky Prospekt at 15 Starovolynskaya St., was conceived as the first socially homogeneous quarter. The complex is located on the territory of Stalin's personal plot of 4 hectares with a lime alley and an apple orchard. Before Stalin, this land was in the possession of many historical figures - Ivan the Terrible, the boyars Godunov and Sheremetyev, the Princes Dolgoruky, and 600 years ago it belonged to Prince Bobrok-Volynsky, whose name was given to the local forest.

A distinctive feature of the residential complex Near Dacha is the "closeness" and strict security system. This is due to the uniqueness of the project, which was ordered by the Office of the President of the Russian Federation, and invested by the company "Promindustria AG". The design of the complex was carried out by outstanding architects of Moscow, masters of the architectural bureau "Ostozhenka", under the direction of Alexander Skokan. The project was implemented by the well-known Austrian concern AG Strabag. Some politicians, as well as the business elite, liked the concept of a "Near dacha", combining two styles - country and urban.

When creating the complex, the unity of several components of prestigious housing was realized: the ecological situation, the adequacy of the environment and proximity to the center. 

For security reasons, the territory of the complex is surrounded by a fence. Recreation areas, areas for walking with children and playgrounds are organized on it.

The developers of the complex even provide for the number of places for cars based on the calculation that two places are needed for one apartment. It is also important that there is no automobile traffic on the territory of the complex, for this purpose there are access roads to the underground parking from the gate of the building.
